Harriet E. Flanagan King was born in Schupening, Mich. on May 24, 1899. Her husband, Joseph M. Flanagan, was a mining engineer who was born in Henley, Wis. on March 31, 1897. In the 1930s, the couple lived in the Philippines. During WWII, they were interned by the Japanese and imprisoned in the Santo Tomas Internment Camp. After Joseph Flanagan's death in 1957, Harriet married Leo King. She died in Denver, Colo. in October 1983. From the description of Harriet Flanagan King papers, 1...
